Hi everyone,
This is a friendly reminder that Rep team tryouts are starting on Monday, October 2nd. If you haven’t made the initial registration payment yet, please do so as soon as possible. Also, if you’re interested in trying out for the Rep team, please sign up for tryouts through the HCR Spordle.
For new parents who are not familiar with Rep hockey, please keep in mind that there is a substantial financial commitment involved. This includes extra Rep registration fees, tournament fees, hotels, gas, and meals on the road. Please consider these expenses before committing to trying out.
Once selected and placed on a team, players are expected to be part of the team and take part in all activities. It’s a busy time for all players, parents, and coaches, so please be patient and respectful during the tryout process.
After teams are finalized, if anyone didn’t get placed on a team, there will be options to join a Rep team from another association as in the past. This will be communicated after tryouts are complete.
Regardless of what team a player plays for, hockey is only the platform we use to make them better kids. The discipline they learn and camaraderie they share is what it’s all about.
