IMPORTANT MEMORANDUM

RE: Development 1 Certification

Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions in place from Public Health in respect to informal gatherings and our inability to deliver fully the Development 1 program, we have made the following adjustment to the qualification/certification coaching requirements for this season only for representative teams in Under 13 and above.
The following will be the minimum requirement for Development 1 for the 2021-22 season only:
Head Coaches must be Coach 2 Trained with their Development 1 MED successfully completed (both the Virtual and On-Line Evaluation). We will schedule another Development 1 MED Virtual session once we have determined how many members require it (approximately 3.5-4 hours). Members will then have approximately a 14-day window to complete their On-Line Evaluation which will take approximately 45 minutes to complete.
Once we have confirmed the date, the session will be posted online, and members notified. Members will be able to register via the following link: https://register.hockeycanada.ca/clinics.
