Assist Fund

MEMORANDUM

TO:                 All Hockey NL Members

FROM:           Craig Tulk, Executive Director, Hockey NL

DATE:             October 19, 2020

SUBJECT:      INTRODUCING THE $1 MILLION HOCKEY CANADA FOUNDATION ASSIST FUND

In its ongoing commitment to ensure access to hockey for young Canadians, the Hockey Canada Foundation has launched its new Assist Fund.

The Hockey Canada Foundation Assist Fund is making $1 million available to help Canadians experiencing financial challenges as a result of COVID-19. It will provide up to $500 per player in registration fee subsidies to approved applicants who are registered with a Hockey Canada-sanctioned association.

The goal: Help young Canadians get back on the ice and enjoying the game they love in their communities.

If you or someone you know could use an assist with registration fees, please visitHockeyCanada.ca/AssistFund for more information, or to apply.

Thank you for your support. Because when it comes to play, we can all use an assist.

Sincerely,

Craig Tulk

Executive Director,

Hockey NL
